Meldrick's Square Numbers Post

Square Numbers and Square Roots

Focus On
  • determine the square of a whole number
  • determine the square root of a perfect square
A square number:
  • is the product of the same two numbers; 3 x 3 = 9, so 9 is a square number.
  • is also known as a perfect square; a number that is not a perfect square is called a non perfect square.
Here is a picture of the 16x table we were supposed to do.

Homework:

  • the perfect square chart
Here is an example.

That is all... remember to comment!

  1. Sorry, people. I know it's late, but there were extenuating circumstances. You probably don't know what that means, so I guess you can't say anything at all. Again, I'm sorry.

  5. Great job Meldrick! I liked how you made the post neat and organized. Although, I see you put your image as a link instead of putting it visually, so we don't have to click things. Also, you should have highlighted more important words so we can understand more. I want to suggest not using bright colors because sometimes it's hard to see like what you said for "the perfect square chart." Awesome job! Keep up the nice work!

  10. Good job Meldrick! I like how you changed the color of some words and your post was organized and easy to read. Next time, you should check over your work because you spelled "square" wrong on the second bullet for the Focus On. You should've put the picture directly on your post instead of a link to it. Anyways, Good Job!
