Ratio- comparer two or three quantites measured in the same units
Example:
Boys:Girls (you should always write a word ratio)
7:10
Rate- compares two quantites measured in different units
Example:
How much does 100g. of corn cost if 400g. costs $1.00?
$/100g. Answer: $0.25/100g. corn
Proportional reasoning- a relationship that says that two ratios or rates are equal
