Jasmin's Sesame Street Video Post

The people in my group were Angelique and Anna.

Ratio
- The relationship between 2 units with respect to the number of times the first contains the second.

Eg. If you have 10 cans on a shelf and a lady takes 4 cans off the shelf then your left with 6 cans on the shelf, the ratio of the cans still on the shelf to the cans with the lady is 6:4 -
- you should always put a word ratio, the word ratio for this problem can be Shelf:Lady

Rate
- Compares 2 quantities measure in different units.
unit rate- A rate in which the second term is one.

Eg.
(unit rate) - If you have 10 cans/$12.00 and you want to know how much 4 cans would cost, you can use unit rate. Here's my example on how to use unit rate to solve a problem.

Proportion
- A relationship that says that two ratios or two rates are equal.
Proportion statement
: ___ ___ = ___ Eg. If 8 pencils cost $1.50, How much will 24 pencils cost?

My group and I made a remake of Sesame Street's video Supermarket Countdown.
This video counts down the number of cans on the shelf in the supermarket.

Here's our remake of the Supermarket Countdown:
