Colleen's Scribe Post

I did questions 8, 9, and 12.

8) The original price of a jacket was $84.00. A store manager marked the pric
e down by 25.5%. By how much was the price reduced?

9) The highest point in Canada is Mount Logan, which is 159% as high as the highest point in Alberta, Mount Columbia is 3747 m. What is the elevation of Mount Logan?

12) A manufacturer of electric hybrid vehicles claims its vehicle will travel 200% as far as its regular vehicle on a full tank of gas. If the regular vehicle travels an average of 550 km on a full tank, how far will the hybrid go?

  1. Great job Colleen! I like the way you explained your work, it's very understandable. I like the colors that you used, and how you matched each question with the answer using the same color. Great work! Keep it up!

  3. Nice job Colleen! I liked how you got your pictures colorful! I like how the font in your pictures are HUGE but then the font for the questions are really tiny. That's the thing you can improve on to make it better, have larger font. I liked how you made explaining the answer very easy to understand. Overall, Excellent job! (:
